((Ooc: Bad name I know 0.0)) With a stupidly dangerous leap, Cursico crossed over a ravine, just two meters down from a tree which would have made things alot safer, as it was lying across the ravine and had been flattened by the paws of many years grinding it down. Cursico was never known for taking the safe way, and he wanted to jump, the danger was enthralling, he even had to stop himself from going back and jumping again. The fall probably wouldn't kill him, just leave him in a broken pile on the bottom to die from exposure and such. "ArooRooRoo!" He shouted merrily, enjoying the sound of his echo high up in the peaks... Well he hadn't gotten up halfway yet, but oh boy it looked high when he glanced down. Not that he'd stop, even if someone from the future told him he'd wind up at the top of the mountain shivering and dying from lack of oxygen, he'd keep going. Knucklehead Cursico was on an adventure!

Ylva was also out and about, wandering around aimlessly. She wanted something to do besides just lie around and do nothing all day. She heard the echo and her ears perked up, finding the sound. She followed it to the ravine and crossed. "Hello?" she called, wondering who was there. She was lonely and wanted someone to travel with, but ever since she was abandoned, she had no one to travel with.

Cursico jumped, almost biting down on his tongue. Quickly recovering from his shock, the malamute turned around, and clambered up onto a ledge to see whatever had called him. Just past the ravine he spotted a dog which was very much like him, but far lighter, and he decidedly thought his tail looked so much better, and wagged it proudly like a flag. "Hey Ho!" He yelled, a moment before racing down the ledge and at Ylva, not stopping to think for one moment she wouldn't think a strange dog running towards her just wanted to play. Sadly, his paws betrayed him and got caught in a hole on the rock, and he tripped head over heels a few feet before stopping. Glad he hadn't kept going and flown down the ravine, and grateful his paw seemed practically uninjured, Cursico looked up at the husky from his position on the floor. "First impressions, huh?" He chuckled, waving his paws in the air above him.

Ylva laughed. He was obviously younger than she but at least he was funny. "Definitely," she replied, smiling a wolfish like grin. Now I have someone to keep me company, if not make me laugh more. "What are you doing in this neck of the county?" she asked curiously, sitting down and waiting for his reply. His tail was fluffy and it curled back, she wondered if it was normal or not. He was obviously a stray as well for he had no collar and she hadn't smelt any humans.

Cursico rolled onto his side, and shook his head, watching a leaf flutter down from one of his ears. "I'm explorin'" He gloated, attempting to get onto his feet before deciding it was too much work and contended himself with lying down. Glancing around for a moment before as the idea this dog wasn't alone struck him, Cursico did what was only polite; "Why're you here?" Not that he was very interested in reasons, Cursico wasn't much of a person to worry about Pack boundaries. If he saw something he wanted to run on,he'd be darned if he didn't just go straight ahead and run on it. Unless it had a ten foot electric wire fence surrounding it or something similar that was... Managing to keep an expression of polite interest, Cursico waited for the exchange to be over, so he could do something more interesting such as see how fast Ylva could run. They were almost the same species, so she should be a good runner anyhow.

"I'm exploring because I got tired of sitting around," she replied, smiling. She too felt like running and wanted to get going already but she was too polite to be rude. Plus she didn't want to offend the pup. I wonder if he likes to run as much as I do....He is a husky after all, or at least he looks like one. She cocked her head. He was a peculiar type of husky at that, darker than the usual shade. But then again, she was a lighter shade than usual.

"You don't need a reason to explore." Cursico rolled his eyes and sighed as if Ylva had some disability which made her say that, and you could only pity her for it. With a sudden heave he got himself back on his feet, shaking down his whole body in the same motion. Nasty leaves had gotten all over his fur, and in his tail. Cursico delicately pulled a twig out from his tail, and spat it down the ravine. "The best kind of exploring is the spontaneous kind." He enthused, nodding to his own words. Or else you might as well be in Boot Camp with only designated 'free' times... He thought, not quite wanting to say that aloud. I suppose I shouldn't mind how others manage their time, especially from a stranger who I could leave and never see again. Cursico cocked his head back at her, mimicking her expression best as he could. (It wasn't like he could see his own face to make sure he'd got it right anyway.)

Ylva laughed, straightening. "I suppose your right. today is just a day for adventure!" she exclaimed. She had come a long way and still wasn't tired. She was itching to go some more but she would wait patiently, for she was a patient dog. She watched him, expecting him to start running at any second. Course, she would follow, she wanted to run, run far away from the place she had come from. And far away from any humans as well.

Cursico watched her for a few moments longer, comprehension taking its time to sink in. Then his smile twisted into a grin, and he crouched, muscles tensing in turn. In a leap he was over Yvla's back and ran along the edge of a ravine, head forward and concentrating on going in a straight line. A speedy straight line, he didn't quite dare to push himself to his full speed so close to a hazardous drop, but he came very close. His tail flew behind him like a banner, a slightly mucky banner. His paw pads made satisfying thumping noises on the hard rocky earth. The wind in his face... or maybe he was just running into air, running was so great and thrilling. He could run for days, but sadly not sledsman was going to feed him, so he sadly had to spend more time than he would want finding food. But still, he'd been bred to run, even without pulling on a harness he loved the feel.

Ylva smiled and followed. She started out slow, just wanting to see how far she had to be from the ravine. She then bolted forward at break-neck speed, following and soon catching up to him.Her pads hitting the earth in dull thumps as she ran on and on. Enjoying the lovely feeling of the air whipping through her fur, whistling in her ears. She howled slightly, she felt wild an free, just as she was born to be. She hated pulling sleds, and she supposed that's why she had been abandoned, but she loved to run, to be free.

Well she can run to say the least. Cursico thought I wonder how good she is at maneuvoring. With that, Cursico began to zigzag, moving away from the Ravine and its tempting dangers. If he didn't look so solidly like a dog, he could me mistaken for a rabbit. Although being small for his species gave him less physical strength, it made it easier to move. That is, if you ignored his paws which still seemed slightly too big although he was fully grown at the age of two. He supposed the feeling would pass, but boy was it annoying when he messed up by tripping over his own paws, not to mention embarassing. Cursico supposed no other dogs his age would go around tripping up over any part of their body.

Ylva followed, maneuvering as easily as a snake through grass and a fish through water. She had been born to do this, it was what her type of breed did. They ran, they maneuvered, and they had endurance, she could go for days without food or water. She could run for weeks without tiring. And so she followed easily maneuvering and wondering how he could do so with his huge paws. He was a bit clumsy, still obvious young, but she could tell he was strong.

Cursico started uphill, happy to feel his muscles strain against the grasp of gravity. The top of the mountain still looked like a fun place to be, all white and... high up. Not to mention he was stubborn. Seemed he had someone to take up to the top with him, then they could even sleigh down, it had such a large potential to be fun. "I'm sure you like the cold." He called back, "Cause we're going to capture the top of the mountain. Though without a flag, sadly." It would have been so cool if he could have grabbed a flag, even an old T-shirt tied to a pole would have been great. Not that that would have been easy to find.

"Of course I like the cold! But really, the top of the mountain? Why not the world?" she asked. Then she was suddenly nervous, he might take that the wrong way. But hopefully he would hear her seriousness to know she wasn't joking. She had been serious after all. The incline made her want to go faster but she knew to pace herself, she didn't want to pass out did she? The top of the mountain looked nice from below but she new from experience that one could die up there. Course, that had been a taller mountain than this.

Cursico wasn't good at anything serious, unless being seriously crazy counted. "The world is round, so there isn't really a top." He stated, slowing briefly when the earth began to slide out from beneath him but only to move to the side and onto firmer ground where he could keep going. "And I don't think there will be any air if we went higher than this mountain..." Suffocating wasn't his thing, the mountain looked high enough considering he'd have to come back down in the end. (And that was even if there was a good food and water supply, Cursico was one who liked to move, and face it the top of the mountain didn't look very big, let alone a place which had many surprises laying in wait for him.)
